Care Volunteers Network organizes music performance and training or lessons to volunteers interested in culture and music. Our volunteers are taking through series of Ghanaian music and dancing, drumming, cultural display and story telling.
Volunteers will learn to play, sing and dance with various music ensembles in Ghana for that matter Volta Region.
Volta is the longest region in Ghana and has multi-faceted ethnic group, language, culture and religions.
It also has ensemble such as borborbor, agbadza, tsiagbekor, talking drums, war drums and many more.
Our team will take you to Tafi Atome cultural institute where you have the opportunity to learn at the recoding studio center and all your music recordings also interact with some of the local FM Radio station artist and in the region CVN is in partnership with Green Door “studio and community music workshop is in Glassgow –Scotland.
We offer music residencies to international music students, music educators and researchers so you have a full flair of understanding of Ghana Music and after your service you become good performers in music and dancing.
It’s a 4 hour lessons and last for 2- 3 weeks minimum and maximum 4 weeks. Location Tafi Atome, Akatsi cultural group
