One of the most important work to be done in developing communities is setting up basic infrastructure.
Assisting communities through building lays a foundation that will allow locals to continue with your efforts even after your work of volunteer abroad has ended.
Building volunteers can look in a different of locations contribution to all types of sustainable projects; whether or not you want to serve or experience grass roots or cities life in Ghana, there are many options for you to get the most out of your building work.
You can be from ages of 16 – 58 years. This project is for volunteers or groups who are on summer break, a gap year from your education, or taking career break. This project runs all year round. You don’t need a building past experience though you should be physically fit and willing to work hard in order to partake on these projects.
Our building project really allows volunteers to host community. Volunteers work with locals to make sure these projects get completed and match the needs of the people they’re benefitting.
You may find that the way you are used to working on building projects different from this experience, the material used are often a bit more simple and can be limited tools for construction.
Besides, work schedule are not always same as you might imagine them to be in America or Europe; so ready to test your cross – cultural knowledge.
